Is there a mandatory dress code for the Vatican tour?

Yes, a very strict dress code is enforced for both men and women. All visitors must have their shoulders and knees completely covered to enter the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Entry may be refused for anyone wearing shorts, miniskirts, or sleeveless tops. We strongly recommend dressing modestly to ensure you are not denied entry on the day.

What does the "Skip the Line" ticket actually let me bypass?

Our "Skip the Line" access allows you to bypass the main ticket-purchasing line, which can often stretch for several hours, saving you a significant amount of your valuable time. Please note, however, that all visitors must pass through a mandatory airport-style security check. There may be a short queue for this security screening, which cannot be skipped.

Can I bring a backpack or a large bag inside the museums?

Small backpacks and standard handbags are generally permitted inside after the security check. However, large bags, luggage, tripods, large umbrellas, and other bulky items are not allowed and must be checked. You will be required to leave these items at the complimentary cloakroom near the entrance before your tour begins and collect them upon exiting the museum complex.

Is photography allowed inside the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel?

Photography without the use of a flash is permitted throughout most areas of the Vatican Museums for your personal use. However, please be aware that photography and video recording of any kind are strictly forbidden inside the Sistine Chapel. This rule is rigorously enforced by the guards to protect the delicate frescoes, and we ask all guests to respect it.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Uganda – Kampala/Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, you may have a relaxed afternoon exploring Entebbe or visiting a nearby attraction.

Enjoy dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 02 :

Kampala/Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, begin your journey northwards towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Upon arrival, enjoy a guided rhino-tracking experience through the sanctuary. Learn about Uganda's rhino conservation programme while observing the southern white rhinos in their protected habitat.
After lunch, continue towards Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 03 :

Murchison Falls – Game Drive & Top of the Falls

Wake up early and enjoy a morning game drive through the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park.

Search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs and predators.

After lunch, visit the Top of Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile is squeezed through a narrow gorge before plunging downstream.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 04 :

Murchison Falls – Nile Boat Cruise & Game Drive

Enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast.

Later, take a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls.

The riverbanks provide excellent opportunities to see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, followed by an optional afternoon game drive.

Day 05 :

Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, leave Murchison Falls and drive southwards towards Kibale Forest National Park.

Enjoy the changing scenery as you pass through rural communities, farms and tea plantations.

Have lunch en route and continue to Kibale.

Arrive at your lodge in the evening and relax.

Day 06 :

Chimpanzee Trekking – Kibale Forest

After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee trekking adventure.

Walk through the tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzee communities. You may also encounter other primates, including red colobus, black-and-white colobus, blue monkeys and mangabeys.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy an optional Bigodi Wetland Community Walk, offering opportunities for bird watching, primate viewing and cultural interaction.

Day 07 :

Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Enjoy the scenic drive through western Uganda before entering the park.

Look for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks and, with luck, lions.

Day 08 :

Queen Elizabeth – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Begin the day with an early morning game drive.

Explore the park's savannah plains while wildlife is most active. Return for breakfast or lunch before preparing for the afternoon boat cruise.

The Kazinga Channel cruise offers close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and many water birds.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 09 :

Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Travel through the spectacular Kigezi Highlands, characterized by rolling hills, terraced gardens and beautiful rural landscapes.

Have lunch en route before continuing to Bwindi.

Arrive at your lodge and prepare for the following day's gorilla trekking experience.

Day 10 :

Mountain Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi

Today is the major highlight of the safari.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.

Enter the forest with experienced ranger guides in search of your assigned gorilla family.

The trek may take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas and the terrain. Once you locate the family, spend your permitted viewing time observing these magnificent primates in their natural environment.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 11 :

Bwindi – Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, begin the long journey towards Kidepo Valley National Park in northeastern Uganda.

Travel through changing landscapes and remote communities as you move from southwestern Uganda towards the Karamoja region.

Enjoy lunch en route and continue towards Kidepo.

Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge.

Day 12 :

Kidepo Valley – Full-Day Wildlife Safari

Wake up early for breakfast before embarking on a full-day wildlife adventure in Kidepo Valley National Park.

Kidepo is particularly rewarding for travellers seeking a remote and less crowded wilderness experience.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Kidepo – Karamojong Cultural Experience

Lake Mburo is known for zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, warthogs and other wildlife.

Day 15 :

Lake Mburo – Game Drive & Equator Crossing

Wake up early for a final game drive in Lake Mburo National Park.

After breakfast, leave the park and continue towards Kampala or Entebbe.

Continue to your accommodation for your final night in Uganda.

Kampala/Entebbe – Departure
