No prior experience is necessary at all! Our professional and friendly crew are excellent instructors and will provide a brief, easy-to-follow lesson on how to use the gear before you get in the water. We also provide flotation devices, like pool noodles or vests, to ensure everyone can float comfortably and safely, regardless of their swimming or snorkeling ability.

What kind of marine life can I realistically expect to see?

Molokini crater is famous for its incredible visibility and vibrant coral reefs, home to hundreds of species of colorful tropical fish. At Turtle Arches, there is a very high probability of seeing and swimming near the majestic Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. You might also spot eels, rays, or even dolphins during the boat journey, though wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

Is this snorkeling trip a good activity for my young children?

Yes, this is a fantastic and memorable trip for families. Our crew is experienced in helping children feel comfortable and safe in the water. We provide snorkeling gear in children's sizes and flotation devices to ensure they have a great time. What is the policy if the weather is bad on my tour date?

Your safety is our absolute top priority. The captain will make a decision based on wind and swell conditions on the morning of the tour. If the weather is deemed unsafe to travel, the trip may be canceled by us. Day 01 :

Kampala/Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe. Drive westwards through Uganda's beautiful countryside towards Kibale Forest National Park, one of Africa's most important destinations for chimpanzee tracking.

Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through rural communities, tea plantations and rolling hills.Have lunch en route before continuing to Kibale. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax.

If time permits, you can take an optional community or nature walk around the area.

Day 02 :

Chimpanzee Trekking – Kibale Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee trekking experience.

Kibale Forest is famous for its large population of chimpanzees and is also home to several other primates, including red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and mangabeys.

The trek takes you through the beautiful tropical forest as your ranger searches for habituated chimpanzee communities.

Once you find the chimpanzees, you will have time to observe their behaviour and take photographs while following the park's guidelines.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, you may enjoy an optional Bigodi Wetland Community Walk, where you can experience local village life and look for additional primates and bird species.

Day 03 :

Kibale – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, begin the scenic journey towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to some of the world's remaining mountain gorillas.

The journey takes you through Uganda's spectacular southwestern landscapes, including rolling hills, banana plantations, forests and traditional communities.

Stop for lunch along the way before continuing towards Bwindi.

Depending on the location of your gorilla trekking sector, accommodation will be arranged in the appropriate area of Bwindi.

Spend the evening relaxing at the lodge and preparing for the following day's gorilla trek.

Day 04 :

Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Your ranger guide will explain the trekking rules and safety procedures before you enter the forest.

The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorilla family assigned to your group. Bwindi's terrain can be steep and challenging, but the experience of encountering mountain gorillas in their natural habitat makes the effort worthwhile.

Once you locate the gorilla family, spend your permitted viewing time observing their behaviour, interactions and daily activities.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the evening, you may enjoy an optional cultural experience with the local community or simply relax at the lodge.

Day 05 :

Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive towards Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The journey provides beautiful views of southwestern Uganda, including the famous terraced hills and countryside around the Kigezi region.

Continue towards Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy lunch along the way.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an evening game drive in the park, where you could encounter elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs and other wildlife.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 06 :

Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala/Entebbe

Wake up early for breakfast and, time permitting, enjoy a short morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After the game drive, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.

Have lunch en route and continue towards your final destination.

You will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your 6 Days Gorilla & Chimpanzee Safari.
