This is primarily a scenic and cultural coach tour, not a trekking holiday. It involves moderate amounts of walking on generally flat surfaces in towns and at attractions. Any mountain excursions included are typically done via cable car or funicular to enjoy the spectacular views without the need for any strenuous climbing, making it suitable for most fitness levels.

What extra clothing should I pack for the mountain excursions?

Even on warm summer days, the temperature at higher altitudes in the Alps can be significantly cooler, windy, and can change quickly. We highly recommend bringing a warm layer, such as a fleece jacket, and a light windproof or waterproof jacket for any mountain trips. Sunglasses are also a must due to the strong glare from the sun.

Day 01 :

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Ruku Safaris & Adventures professional English-speaking driver-guide. After a short briefing about your safari, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe to relax and recover from your journey.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an optional walk along the shores of Lake Victoria or simply unwind at the hotel in preparation for the adventure ahead.

Day 02 :

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart Entebbe for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest and oldest national park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience, giving you the opportunity to see the last remaining wild rhinos in Uganda.

After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls and visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the River Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically below.

Day 03 :

Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where you'll encounter hippos, crocodiles, elephants and abundant birdlife.

Day 04 :

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park, renowned as the primate capital of East Africa. Enjoy a scenic drive through tea plantations, rolling hills and traditional villages before arriving at your lodge for relaxation.

Day 05 :

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

ollowing an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering Kibale Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience. Besides chimpanzees, you may encounter several monkey species and colourful forest birds.

After lunch, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for an evening game drive if time permits.

Day 06 :

Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

In the afternoon, take a memorable boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, one of Africa's best wildlife viewing locations, with large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and countless bird species.

Day 07 :

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Day 08 :

Morning Nature Walk – Equator Stop – Return to Entebbe
