The 14 Days Uganda Grand Wildlife Safari is an extensive Uganda adventure designed for travellers who want to experience the country’s major wildlife destinations, spectacular landscapes and diverse ecosystems. The journey combines Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable, Lake Mburo and Kidepo Valley National Parks, offering a remarkable mix of savannah wildlife, primates, forests, mountains and cultural encounters.

Itinerario
Your Grand Uganda Safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe.
Drive northwards towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda's protected home for southern white rhinos. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided rhino-tracking experience through the sanctuary.
After lunch, continue towards your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, continue towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park.
Enter the park and proceed towards the lodge. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the savannah.
Look out for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, antelopes and other wildlife.
Later, visit the Top of Murchison Falls and enjoy spectacular views of the Nile as it squeezes through the narrow gorge.

Wake up early for breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive.
Explore the northern sector of the park in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs and predators such as lions and leopards.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. The cruise provides excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous water birds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, leave Murchison Falls and drive southwards towards Kibale Forest National Park.
Enjoy Uganda's beautiful countryside along the way, passing through villages, farms and tea-growing areas.
Have lunch en route before continuing to Kibale.
Arrive at your lodge and relax in preparation for the following day's chimpanzee trek.

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee trekking experience.
Walk through the tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzee communities. Kibale is also home to several other primates, including red colobus, black-and-white colobus, blue monkeys and mangabeys.
After locating the chimpanzees, spend time observing their behaviour and interactions.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy an optional Bigodi Wetland Community Walk, where you can discover local culture and search for additional primates and bird species.

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of western Uganda as you travel towards the park.
After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive through the Kasenyi Plains.
Search for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks and other wildlife. With luck, you may encounter lions.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Start the day with an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Explore the savannah plains and search for wildlife while temperatures are cooler and animals are more active.
Return to the lodge for breakfast or lunch depending on the day's schedule.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward.
The cruise offers excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and many species of birds.

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The route passes through the beautiful Kigezi Highlands, famous for rolling hills, terraced gardens and spectacular scenery.
Enjoy lunch along the way before continuing to Bwindi.
Arrive at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the following day's gorilla trek.

After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest for mountain gorilla trekking.
The trek can take several hours depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family. Bwindi's steep forest terrain can be challenging, but the opportunity to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the evening, you may enjoy an optional community or cultural experience.

After breakfast, begin the long but scenic journey towards Kidepo Valley National Park in northeastern Uganda.
The journey takes you through changing landscapes and rural communities, offering a glimpse into Uganda beyond the main tourist routes.
Have lunch en route before continuing towards Kidepo.
Arrive at your lodge in the evening, relax and enjoy dinner.

Wake up early for breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive through Kidepo Valley National Park.
Kidepo is known for its remote wilderness and diverse wildlife. Search for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, jackals and predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive through the park.

After breakfast, enjoy a cultural experience with the Karamojong community.
Learn about traditional lifestyles, local customs, music, dance and the cultural heritage of northeastern Uganda.
After lunch, enjoy another wildlife excursion or nature walk depending on the available activities and your interests.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, begin the journey southwards towards Lake Mburo National Park.
Enjoy lunch along the way before continuing to the park.
Upon arrival, enjoy an evening game drive. Lake Mburo is known for zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, warthogs and other wildlife.
The park is also one of Uganda's destinations where visitors can enjoy a guided walking or cycling safari.

Wake up early for a final game drive or optional nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park.
After breakfast, leave the park and continue towards Kampala or Entebbe.
Stop at the Equator crossing for photographs, souvenirs and a brief demonstration of the geographical significance of the equator.
Continue to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
This marks the end of your 14 Days Uganda Grand Wildlife Safari.
