Itinerario
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional representative from Ruku Safaris. After a briefing about your 10-day Uganda safari, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel and recover from your journey.

After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel and begin your journey north towards Murchison Falls National Park.
Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you will walk through the sanctuary and observe the southern white rhinos in their natural environment.
After lunch, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Enter the park and proceed to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early for breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive on the northern bank of Murchison Falls National Park.
The game drive offers opportunities to spot:

- Uganda kobs
- Oribis
- Warthogs
- Various bird species
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise along the River Nile.
The cruise takes you towards the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, you may encounter large numbers of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants and numerous bird species.
After the cruise, continue to the Top of the Falls, where you will witness the Nile squeezing through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically into the river below.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic journey towards western Uganda and Kibale Forest National Park.
The journey takes you through Uganda's beautiful countryside, passing rural communities, rolling hills, farms and traditional homesteads. You will enjoy lunch en route before continuing towards the Kibale region.
Arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in and relax in preparation for the following day's chimpanzee tracking adventure.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest for your chimpanzee tracking experience.
Kibale Forest is one of Africa's best destinations for primate encounters and is home to a large population of chimpanzees as well as several other primate species. As you walk through the tropical rainforest with experienced guides and rangers, you may encounter chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys and many bird species.
Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend the permitted time observing their behaviour, interactions and movements.
In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk and cultural experience. This community-based conservation area offers opportunities for birdwatching and interaction with local communities.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Kibale and travel south towards Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The journey offers spectacular views of the Rwenzori Mountains, crater lakes and the scenic western Uganda countryside. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is famous for its high concentration of hippos and provides excellent opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and a wide variety of bird species along the shores.
After the cruise, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for a morning game drive across the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The area is well known for wildlife viewing, and you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs and other wildlife.
After breakfast or a packed meal, continue south through the park towards the Ishasha Sector, famous for its population of tree-climbing lions.
Enjoy a game drive through Ishasha in search of these unique lions, which are often seen resting in the branches of large fig trees. Other wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes and antelopes may also be encountered.
Later, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy another opportunity for wildlife viewing as you leave the Ishasha Sector and continue towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The journey takes you through beautiful rural landscapes, traditional villages and the scenic hills of southwestern Uganda.
Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi and spend the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the following day's gorilla trekking adventure.
You may also choose to visit a nearby community or enjoy a cultural experience, depending on your arrival time.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.
You will then begin the unforgettable adventure of mountain gorilla trekking through Bwindi's dense tropical rainforest. The trek may take anywhere from a relatively short time to several hours, depending on the movements of the gorilla family.
Once the gorillas are located, you will spend the permitted time observing them as they feed, interact and care for their young.
This is one of the most extraordinary wildlife experiences in the world.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later, enjoy an optional Batwa cultural experience, where you can learn about the traditions, history, music and lifestyle of one of the indigenous communities associated with the Bwindi forest region.

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe.
Travel through the scenic countryside of southwestern Uganda, with opportunities to admire the rolling hills, farmlands and traditional settlements.
Stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs and an opportunity to purchase souvenirs. You may also enjoy lunch en route before continuing to Kampala or Entebbe.
Depending on your travel arrangements, you will be transferred to your hotel or directly to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
